Honda Prelude Limited Edition Arrives in Europe This Autumn

Honda has announced the Prelude Limited Edition for Europe, arriving this autumn. After an overwhelming response to its debut in Japan, this limited-run model brings a unique, elevated look that highlights the Prelude's sleek proportions and sophisticated Japanese craftsmanship.

A dramatic, exclusive colour defines the new Prelude Limited Edition. Its exterior debuts Honda's radiant Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic paint, which Honda engineered to catch the light and accentuate the car's fluid contours. Red accents on the front and rear bumpers, vibrant red Brembo brake callipers and 19-inch black cut alloy wheels complement the paint.

Inside, a rich Bordeaux interior transforms the cabin. Premium materials and tailored contrast accents elevate an already immersive cockpit, one that balances sporty ambition with luxurious refinement.

Contrast red stitching adds an elegant touch to the steering wheel, centre console, and dashboard, drawing the eye to the interior's refined lines. The detail continues around the cabin on the front seats and door lining pads, creating a cohesive, bespoke finish throughout. Dedicated floor mats with a red accent complete the look.

Honda also embroiders the Prelude logo on the dashboard of every Limited Edition, giving the impression that someone has signed each car by hand.

Beneath its refined new colourway, the Prelude Limited Edition keeps the celebrated e:HEV hybrid system and the innovative Honda S+ Shift. Together, they deliver an intuitive, weightless driving feel inspired by flying a glider.

The original Prelude debuted nearly 50 years ago, and it has always served as a thrilling, high-performance showcase for Honda's latest innovations. The new Prelude continues this legacy with a compelling blend of style, sophistication and a state-of-the-art hybrid powertrain.

β€œThe characteristics of the Prelude have changed over the years, but what has remained the same is its sportiness and speciality. When you think of a sports car, you think of something sharp, like an F1 or a fighter jet. However, I think the theme of this model is closer to the image of a glider that glides through the air with a sense of freedom,” said Tomoyuki Yamagami, Large Project Leader for the Honda Prelude.

The Prelude Limited Edition is the ultimate expression of this vision. Honda created it to give customers that unique feeling, both at first sight and from behind the wheel.

The Prelude Limited Edition is a Model Year 2027 car, and it goes on sale in Europe from autumn 2026.
