Le Mans 2026 Entry List: 62 Cars, Key Drivers and Teams

The 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans, which runs from 10 to 14 June, promises a weekend of suspense. You can see the list of 62 cars entered for the next edition of the famous French race, which is round four of the FIA World Endurance Championship. As usual, the entry list features leading manufacturers, elite teams and top drivers across Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGT3.

A new manufacturer joins the Hypercar class this year as South Korean brand Genesis enters Le Mans with clear intent. Genesis Magma Racing fields two GMR-001-Hypercars with experienced driver line-ups. Three-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner André Lotterer, who won in 2011, 2012 and 2014, teams up with Luis Felipe “Pipo” Derani and rising talent Mathys Jaubert in the #17. Paul-Loup Chatin, Mathieu Jaminet and Daniel Juncadella will drive the #19, and the trio brings 17 Le Mans starts between them. Rivals should take the Genesis Hypercar effort seriously.

Fans and insiders will study Toyota’s latest move in June as the manufacturer brings the updated Toyota TR010 Hybrid to Le Mans. Toyota has refreshed the five-year-old prototype that won in 2021 and 2022, and the team aims to lead the 18-car Hypercar field again. Toyota Racing will rely on proven endurance racing strength, including Sébastien Buemi, a four-time Le Mans winner, and Brendon Hartley, a three-time winner.

French interest will rise again with the return of Doriane Pin, widely known as the Pocket Rocket, who comes back to Le Mans this year. She will race in LMP2 once more and drive the Duqueine Team Oreca 07 – Gibson. Since her first Le Mans appearance in 2023, she has built momentum on the international stage. She won in the F1 Academy after finishing second in 2024, and she has continued to impress on major circuits. She recently joined Mercedes-AMG as the team’s Formula One development driver, and her pace should make her a major talking point. Another French driver, Lilou Wadoux, will chase a strong result in her fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans after Ferrari recently extended her contract.

The LMGT3 grid should deliver another close contest as teams fight through traffic and trade positions deep into the night. The LMGT3 class, which arrived in 2024, continues to generate high-intensity battles. Last season, six of the eight championship rounds produced a different winner, and Le Mans saw the first four cars finish on the same lap. With nine manufacturers on the entry list this year, the LMGT3 field looks set for another thrilling race. Star names include 2021 Le Mans winner José María López in the Akkodis ASP Team #87 Lexus, plus Richard Lietz, who will drive The Bend Manthey’s #92 Porsche for his 20th Le Mans start.

The 2026 driver roster also highlights the next wave of endurance racing talent, with several young prospects arriving from Formula One and Formula Two. Alpine Endurance Team selected 2022 Formula Three champion Victor Martins, who also won a Formula Two race last year. Peugeot TotalEnergies has added 2023 Formula Two champion Théo Pourchaire. Logan Sargeant brings Formula One experience to Proton Competition in LMGT3 as he builds endurance mileage ahead of the planned Ford Hypercar programme. All three drivers are under 28, and they look ready to shape the sport’s future.

LMP2 should provide unbearable suspense again, as the category keeps producing late drama and surprise results. Recent years have delivered nail-biting finishes, and last year the top two cars finished on the same lap while the first nine crossed the line within three laps. Panis Racing returns as a major contender after its European Le Mans Series success, but Inter Europol Competition will push hard after taking two wins since 2023. AO by TF also looks dangerous with the speed of Louis Delétraz in its line-up. RD Limited also stands out as a fresh project formed by Romain Dumas, a two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner in 2010 and 2016, who will return to the cockpit for the first time since 2023. With this depth of talent across the Le Mans entry list, the 2026 edition looks set to deliver another gripping race.
