Le Mans Entry List: Seven GM Cars Led by Corvettes
The Automobile Club de l’Ouest has released the official 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list, and it includes four Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs for this year’s race.
Cadillac Racing also aims for overall victory and enters three factory Cadillac V-Series.R race cars in the Hypercar class. Experienced, championship-winning teams and drivers support the programme. In LMGT3, the four Corvettes join a deep field of 25 cars.
“General Motors has the broadest and most diverse motorsports presence of any automaker in the world,” General Motors President Mark Reuss said. “Fielding seven cars at Le Mans reflects not only our competitive ambition, but our relentless drive to advance endurance, innovation and performance on a global stage.”
For the first time at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Corvette Racing puts four entries on the grid for the June endurance classic. TF Sport represents Corvette Racing across the full FIA World Endurance Championship season, and the team returns to Le Mans for a third consecutive year with two Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs. The No. 33 pairs Nicky Catsburg with Jonny Edgar and Ben Keating, while the No. 34 unites Charlie Eastwood, Salih Yoluc and Peter Dempsey. Both cars also contest the full-season championship.
TF Sport also takes up its automatic invitation after winning last year’s European Le Mans Series, and it adds another Corvette for Le Mans with the No. 2. The entry runs under the TF Sport banner and includes personnel from Johor Motorsports Racing. Prince Jefri Ibrahim, Afiq Ikhwan and Ben Green share the driving duties.
From North America, 13 Autosport brings its No. 13 Corvette to the Le Mans grid. Under the AWA banner in 2025, owner-driver Orey Fidani won his second straight Bob Akin Award in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship and secured the team’s return to Le Mans. Fidani joins IMSA teammates Matt Bell and Lars Kern.
Four Corvettes have tackled Le Mans in the same year before, and the brand first appeared at the French classic in 1960 with four cars. One of those Corvettes won the GT class with John Fitch and Bob Grossman at the wheel. Corvette also fielded four cars in 2016, including two factory Corvette Racing entries in the GTE Pro class.
The Corvette Z06 GT3.R starts with the same production-aluminium chassis as the road-going Z06. It uses similar carbon-fibre splitters to generate front downforce, and it retains the surface area from the top of the windscreen to the rear of the Z06. The design also keeps side air ducts behind the doors, and those ducts take direct inspiration from the Z06 road car. They help cool the engine, transmission, and rear brakes.
The hand-built 5.5-litre, flat-plane crankshaft V8 in the Z06 GT3.R also closely mirrors the road car. Both engines are produced at the Bowling Green factory, and the racing version shares 80 per cent of its production content with the Z06.
The 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans runs on June 13-14, and it serves as the fourth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
