New Hyundai IONIQ 6 N UK Price and Specs Confirmed
Hyundai Motor UK has announced pricing and specifications for the new Hyundai IONIQ 6 N, and it has now opened the order books.
Hyundai built the IONIQ 6 N on the technological breakthroughs of the popular IONIQ 5 N. The brand engineered it for peak driving thrills and gave it a personality that sets it apart from its hatchback counterpart. Hyundai N followed its three-pillar philosophy: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sportscar. The IONIQ 6 N delivers a more distinct N-focused design and a wide range of advanced features that increase driving control and engagement.
The IONIQ 6 N delivers cornering precision through advanced suspension geometry and a re-engineered chassis that improves handling. Stroke-sensing Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) dampers and a lowered roll centre work together to boost grip and stability. The set-up gives drivers confident performance on undulating roads and demanding circuits. The revised suspension geometry lowers the roll centre for improved high-speed stability and adds new bushing applications that balance sharp handling with refined comfort.
Hyundai equips the IONIQ 5 N with an electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD). The e-LSD actively manages wheel torque to boost traction and overall performance. Hyundai also upgrades axle stiffness, steering precision, and mount damping. These changes reduce vibration and improve ride comfort and refinement across varied surfaces.
The IONIQ 6 N power electronics system unlocks maximum performance from the E-GMP platform. At the front, a high-efficiency, high-output drive system combines motor, reducer and inverter. The rear motor acts as the primary drive unit to enhance traction. With NGB engaged, the IONIQ 6 N delivers 650 PS and 770 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds with N Launch Control and reaches a top speed of 160 mph.
Hyundai developed an enhanced N e-Shift system for the IONIQ 6 N, building on the version first seen on the IONIQ 5 N. It uses shorter gear ratios. Hyundai also refines the N Active Sound + system with upgraded hardware and careful acoustic tuning to create a more engaging, immersive driving experience. The IONIQ 6 N carries over fully customisable N drive functions from the IONIQ 5 N, which let drivers fine-tune the setup to their taste. Dedicated steering wheel buttons support rapid mode selection and driver-focused control.
On the outside, the IONIQ 6 N takes styling cues from the newly designed IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 6 N Line, which arrives in the UK in spring 2026. It adds 5-spoke 20” alloy wheels, a high-performance rear wing and widened front and rear fenders. These changes sharpen its aggressive, track-ready appearance and improve stability during high-speed cornering.
Inside, Hyundai optimises the cabin for high-performance driving. Bucket seats use Alcantara suede and genuine leather to provide strong support during spirited driving. N-exclusive metal pedals deliver precision braking and stable pedal response, and a knee support pad improves comfort during cornering. Premium touches include N logo welcome lighting on the front seats and the latest Hyundai CCnC infotainment system. Together, they strengthen the cabin’s motorsport-inspired character and blend cutting-edge performance with everyday usability.
Hyundai will sell the IONIQ 6 N in the UK in a single specification, with prices starting from £65,800. Buyers can choose a tilt-and-slide Vision Roof and one of six exterior body colours as the only options. The available exterior colours include Performance Blue pearl, Abyss Black pearl, Gravity Gold matte, Nocturne Grey metallic, Nocturne Grey matte and Serenity White pearl. Performance Blue pearl costs £750.00, Abyss Black pearl costs £750.00, and Nocturne Grey metallic costs £750.00. Gravity Gold matte costs £1,250.00, and Nocturne Grey matte costs £1,250.00. Ashley Andrew, President of Hyundai & Genesis UK, said: “The IONIQ 5 N revolutionised the world of performance cars, proving that an electric car could still raise the pulse of a driving enthusiast. IONIQ 6 N delivers even more to the enthusiast driver: all the benefits of the 5 N’s high-performance E-GMP base. This suspension setup produces a different character, all encapsulated in the aerodynamic IONIQ 6’s electrified streamliner shape. The UK is one of the leading global markets for IONIQ 5 N, second only to the USA, and we are excited to see how our enthusiast audience receives IONIQ 6 N”
