Rimac Nevera R Leads Monterey Car Week 2025 Showcase
Monterey Car Week stands as the world’s most exclusive series of motoring events, and each year Rimac Automobili brings customers, executives and new product developments together for a week-long celebration of the Rimac brand on the California coast.
In 2025, Rimac centred the week on intimate experiences and a showcase of the Nevera R alongside customer examples of the Nevera and Nevera Time Attack at two private residences in the hills of Monterey. At the BINGO House, operated for the week by BINGO Sports, the specialised dealer representing Rimac and Bugatti in Tokyo, the team displayed the Nevera R. The 2,107 hp hypercar set 24 new performance records earlier this year, and the company expects first customer deliveries by the end of the year.
A Nevera R and various customer cars, from the Nevera to the Nevera Time Attack, drove around Monterey throughout the week. Owners assembled a lineup at a private Rimac Automobili party at a residence in Monterey, joined by Bugatti Rimac executives.
"Monterey Car Week is a fantastic series of events, and we love coming back each year in different ways. It’s a chance for us to connect with our customers, showcase our latest developments, and enjoy the unique energy of the community here, along with the passion people have for cars”, said Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, and Rimac Technology.
The Rimac Nevera R evolves the Nevera from Hyper GT to Hyper Sports Car. Engineers re-engineered all major components to deliver 15% more downforce and almost 200 hp more power. The car made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and set 24 performance records in early July.
